Having established our crew for Round the Island we wanted to give our new grinder(who has only sailed for us once and sailed for 1 week in his life!) some practice. We sailed 7 up so Sam O could observe and the get his chance to have a go. After a well judged start and good first beat we were 2nd on the water around Arne. Then with guidance Sam O took to his winch and after doing everyhting the hard way including being hit over the head by the boom we got down to business. Having been 2nd in the last series we were determined to win and that we did even with 7 on board.
