The start was postpone by an hour where there was no wind so we moored up behing Flair 1V and showed Sam O the spectacular boats that were first off. After a quick discussion for tactics it was decided to start at the castle end whcih we did. We reached up the island shore where we managed to carry the wind past all the boats in the middle of the channel.

We passed through Hurst with the boats in the group ahead of us. Going inside the wreck we then beat to St. Cats, where Sam P had the chance to do some helming to. We all hoped to pop the kite but had to conitnue beating to Bramble Ledge before the kite could go up. We rounded with Purple Haze (winner) and proceeded to overtake them but they got through us later on. We ended up finishing at 1904.

We would both like to thank the crew for their hard work, for Sam O for learning how to trim/grind in 3/52, charlie for staying awake!, for Sam P for giving us amusement with his burnt legs!! and for georgie for losing a winch handle, breaking a winch and working the kite bloody hard!!
