With one person short we managed a successful beat, battling with the Elan 31 Kudos. Rounding no.47 we decided on a gybe set, though when hoisting the spinnaker the halyard clip blew open. Dropping the genoa we hoisted the spinnaker on the genoa halyard. With our current lead in the race we decided to drop the main and send Sam P up the mast to change the halyards and bring down the genoa halyard again... amazingly we maintained boat speed with only the spinnaker up and someone up the top of the mast. After all the excitement we continued the race making good use of the shifts, and finding the closest end of the line we finished the race in first place.

Our second win of the series has extended our overall lead, with Panache now 4 points behind us
