Winter Series Race 10 [Posted by Steve on Tue 21st Dec 04]

Last race of the winter series yesterday and Steve Hooper very kindly stepped into helm along with Richard D to do main. These two did a fantastic job considering it was their first time at respective jobs and after sailing a conservative race we ended up with a very credible third in windy/wavy conditions, even putting up our kite when no-one else dared!

Thank you to everyone for this series and for sailing well. We really did show everyone else how to do it!!

Thanks again and we're considering doing the spring series at Poole should any of the crew fancy sailing with us again!!
